Streamwood Summer Celeration Parade

Once again, the WCMC has been invited to participate in the Streamwood
Summer Celebration Parade. This year’s theme is “Fun in the Sun.”

If you choose to decorate your car, please observe the parade theme by
using suitable decorations. Don’t forget to bring candy: the parade route
will be lined from end to end with kids.

Saturday, July 29th
Streamwood Blvd east of Bartlett Road, Streamwood
Line-up is at 10:00 AM
Parade steps off at 10:30 AM

Directions:
Take the Elgin/O’Hare Expressway from I-290/53
Go west until it ends at Hwy 20
Turn right and go to Bartlett Road (6th light)
Turn right and go to the 2nd light (Streamwood Blvd).

After the parade everyone is invited to visit the Streamwood Summer
Celebration food tent, located at the end of the parade route. I have
made special arrangements for parking at the Streamwood Fire Station.
From there we can walk to the tent. All types of food and beverages will
be available, along with seating under the tent. There will be arts and
craft vendors, entertainment and a business expo where you can register
for a chance to win prizes.

I’ll need a count of the number of cars in the parade for the coordinators.
