Southwest Wisconsin One-Tank Tour

 I’m Fred Anderson and my wife is Carol Anderson. FYI my cell number is 630 464-3963 and Carol’s is 630 408-0759. We will both have our phones during the tour however, a part of the area we will cover that doesn’t have coverage for our phones.

The assembly area will be in Rockford, IL near Denny’s. This is a big parking lot so we should gather away somewhat from the business to not interfere. Denny’s is located off Highway 20, south side of Rockford. You exit 20 at Highway 251 (old 51) and it’s visible from either road. When I check this out a few weeks ago, the parking lot was in need of some repair with potholes but……… we all know how much fun it is maneuvering Miatas so, consider this a practice or warm up for our drive. hehe.

We will be there 9am to 10am for check-in. Look for a red 2006 limited. I will be wearing a red tee shirt with “Cool Grandpa” so shouldn’t be hard to find. We will be leaving at 10am sharp so if you intend to have breakfast at Denny’s, allow time.

We will be leaving Batavia at 7:30am so if anyone wants to connect for the drive to Rockford let me know. We will be starting from home, down Hart Road to Butterfield (Rt 56), right on Butterfield to RT 31, left to 88 toll road. Toll road to I-39 north to Rockford.

As gasoline is cheap(er) in Illinois, you should arrive at the assembly area with a full tank.
