Sam’s Poker Rally

Benefiting the Child Advocacy Center of Kane County

Sponsored by the Windy City Miata Club

When: Saturday, June 28, 2008 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

What: A tour through the area in and around St. Charles, Illinois with stops at local businesses to collect cards for your poker hand

Where: Rally starts and ends at Tim & Deb Joos’ house (39W479 Baert Lane, St. Charles, IL 60175 [630-443-6330])

How Much: Best poker hand wins first prize. Drawings for additional prizes. Raffle tickets are 1 for $20, 3 for $50, and 7 for $100 ($20 minimum donation per vehicle). A separate 50:50 drawing ($5 per card) will also be offered.

Benefiting the Friends of Child Advocacy: A not-for-profit corporation that raises funds to provide services for the sexually and physically abused children who pass through the Kane County Child Advocacy Center each year. CAC investigates and prosecutes cases of sexual and physical abuse in a child-sensitive manner. Help us to meet the special needs of abused children in our community and continue the abuse prevention programs that will help protect all children.

Donations will be made in the name of Samantha Joos who wanted to be a counselor helping children and teens but never got the chance.

If you are unable to participate but would like to make a donation, please send us a check made out to “Friends of Child Advocacy”.
