Annual Holiday Magic Tree Trim at Brookfield Zoo

Once again WCMC is partnering with Napleton Mazda of Naperville to sponsor and decorate a large (“Corporate”) tree for Brookfield Zoo’s Holiday Magic event.  This is the club’s 18^th year of participation and 12^th year of collaboration with our friends at Napleton.

You are invited to make car-themed, Mazda-themed, or Miata-themed ornaments and to come help decorate the tree.  Please note the ornaments should be non-edible, weather-resistant and LARGE.

Participants do NOT need to be Zoo members.  As part of tree sponsorship, we will receive admission and parking passes to the Zoo.  (Parking passes are more limited than admission passes; car-pooling is encouraged.)

The date is Sunday, November 8.  We will meet at our assigned tree at 1:00 pm.  (With your passes, you may come earlier – or stay later – to enjoy the Zoo.)

A head count is needed and the sign-up deadline is November 2 so we can order the passes.

If you plan to join us, please email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  Put “Tree Trim” in the subject line of your email and be sure to tell us:

• how many people are coming in your car;
• whether anyone in your party is a member of Brookfield Zoo; and
• the email address at which you wish to receive your Zoo parking and admission passes.  (You will need to print the passes or save them on your phone and SHOW them to enter the Zoo.)

 If you cannot attend but would like to make ornaments, please contact us so we can send you the Ornament Guidelines and arrange to get those ornaments from you before November 8.

 We look forward to continuing this fun and community-spirited tradition and hope you will join us.
