Next Saturday, August 1, will be our first Miatas and Breakfast with a drive this year.

Breakfast will be a bring or buy your own food and beverage in the parking lot of Marcus Elgin Cinema at 111 S Randall Rd. in Elgin.             

Breakfast will be tailgate style while maintaining social distancing. We recommend that you bring lawn chairs.

There is a McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts and a Burger King located just south of the theater.

Breakfast will be from 8:30 to 10:00am followed by a 55 mile drive to a great Auto attractions Museum in Roscoe IL. More than just a display of historic automobiles, it’s a journey through time! Over 75 historic autos displayed in 36,000 sq. ft., including the largest collection of presidential and world leaders limousines, John Dillinger’s getaway car, Elvis Presley’s personal car, Indy cars, TV Land cars such as the Batmobile.

Historic Auto Attractions houses one of the most extensive collections of John F Kennedy & Kennedy family artifacts and memorabilia in the country. A “Lincoln Room” is full of Lincoln memorabilia. There are also many WWII artifacts on display including uniforms, maps, swords, knives, flags, banners and more. There also is a large gift shop. The admission charge for the museum is Adults $13.00, Military & Seniors $11.00.

It is suggested that you plan an hour and a half or more to see everything. There are 12 individual museum rooms.     MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO ENTER THE MUSEUM.
