Our breakfast in April will take place on Saturday, April 3rd and will be held at Chuck’s Southern Comfort Café in Burbank, IL starting at 8:00.  Chuck’s is located at the intersection of 79th St & Neenah Av and is directly across the street from the Burbank Fire Department.  Parking will be on the West end of the lot, just be on the lookout for the orange cones.  We'll be in the back room which is named the Voodoo Lounge and they also have an outdoor patio but this option will be weather dependent.  Camping chairs are also encouraged for those who would like to further social distance, curbside pickup is available for those who would like to tailgate and eat near or in their cars.  Chuck's is famous for "Beignet Breakfasts" which are held the 1st Saturday of each month but for those members who are more traditional, breakfast items can be ordered off the menu as well.  As a result, the restaurant MAY be busier than usual but they open promptly at 8am.

Who’s ready for an honest to goodness driving event because I know I am!!  After a one-year absence due to “you know what”, we’ll be having our first driving event of the year on April 3rd immediately following the monthly WCMC breakfast at Chuck’s Southern Comfort Café.  A Driver's meeting will begin promptly at 11:00 AM and we will discuss details of the April’s Full Tank Tour.  We’ll be traveling on some of Suburban Chicago's finest roads that meander through the Cook County Forest Preserves.  If you’ve never been in this area before, you will truly feel like you’re in another State.  Just be sure to have a full tank of gas before arriving at Chuck’s,  For convenience, there’s a Citgo gas station across from Chuck’s so members can also fill up prior to leaving.  Early April can be a mixed bag weather wise and this driving event will take place regardless if there’s sun, rain, sleet or snow in the forecast but please don’t feel obligated to driving your Miata and if needed, use your OTM if the weather gets really bad.
